Shah Hussain says that the hideous and the worldly wishes (venomous snakes) hiss all around the world, ready to bite you. Only those attached to God are saved. Saints(friends of God) mortify their sensual appetites.
Oh Dear! Hearing the truth is almost impossible.(As the truth is always bitter.) How can one hear the truth if falsehood is completely mingled in the blood and bones? (Instead of the truth,the lie is dwelling in the self. Only those who hear the truth have the fire of Love in their hearts. They have burnt the veil,which lies between them and the Beloved,and the jealous are disgraced. The venomous snakes roam the streets,and only those who take refuge in God will be saved.– Shah Hussain
